Privacy and data protection

Mapple does not in principle collect data from the visitors of our services other than pseudo-anonymous information about the page views from the web users, but offers the ability to collect third-party data with javascript code (browser script) and web browser cookies (cookie is a short snippet that is stored in the client's browser).

Under the new data protection reform, cookies placed in a customer's browser are interpreted as personal data and are thus covered by the protection of data protection. This page contains more information about the third parties making use of these cookies and about the information they may collect.

We also use third party javascript codes and cookies that may process personal information, but which are necessary or mandatory for the implementation of the service, such as customer service chat or technical error logging. Unfortunately, we can not turn them off to make the service and to guarantee the quality of our services.
